How to use it?
Using your Dual Lock Retractable Ratchet Straps is easy! Here’s how: Bolt the ratchet straps to the desired location. The handle needs to be in RELEASE POSITION, then start to operate the tie-down strap. While pressing the button, pull out the webbing to the proper length. Leave the button, the webbing will be locked. Attach the hook to the desired anchor point.
Pull the handle to LOCK POSITION to keep thewebbing from being pulled out. Crank the handle back and forth to tie. Note: There is no need to crank the handle all the way to the end. Doing it slightly will work. Pull the handle back to release position. Press the button, then the webbing will auto-rewind back to the housing.
WARNINGS AND REMINDERS WHEN USING: DO NOT use the ratchet strap to lift loads. Make sure your anchor points are sufficiently strong to hold the load. Protect the webbing from sharp edges and heat. If damaged, replace the webbing immediately. Warranty is null and void if the strap is intentionally cut or damaged. The ratchet strap exerts great tension. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN to avoid damaging your load.

How to use it?
General Directions: Pull up the release latch and pull the handle to the release slot (A) around 90 degrees. Pull out the webbing and attach the hook to stable anchor point. Pull up the release latch again, then crank the handle to tighten the straps. To lock safety, pull down the handle. To release, open the handle to 90 degrees.
There are two mounting ways to use your 1 7/8 inch Retractable Tie Down. Use as Standard Tie-down points: Bolt with S hook adapter. You can attach the S hook to the desired tie-down point.
Permanent Installation: Bolt-on the desired position.

There are a number of tips and tricks for storing ratchet straps to keep them protected but here are 3 things you must keep in mind:
๐๐๐ผ๐ถ๐ฑ ๐ ๐ผ๐ถ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ -Storing polyester straps in a humid place will become moldy. Molds can greatly weaken the webbing , and the polyester may actually be destroyed in this way. In addition, heavy rain or high humidity may form mold on your ratchet straps over time.
๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐ญ / ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ -Exposure to other heat sources such as the sun, direct contact with fire or other sources of heat may cause the webbing to weaken. Direct sunlight will also cause the webbing to deteriorate, please avoid direct sunlight when you donโt use it for a long time.

Such friction may weaken the straps by weakening it in spots, thereby damaging the webbings. If the friction is strong enough, it may even cause visible defects.

It is advised that a lubricant can be used on all of our retractable ratchets to help the retraction mechanism pull the strap back onto the spool.
You’ll have to use a silicone-based lubricant ( not grease, household oil, or spray-on lubricants) in the gear mechanism. We suggest going easy with the appliance (bit by bit) until you see a smoother result. You’ll be able to find this silicone lubricant at a local hardware store anytime.
